Vicky and I are absolutely thrilled that Meg Morton is starring in a special feature in this month’s issue of Dorset Magazine, entitled Families in Business.
Working together as a mother and daughter team is such a privilege that we both thoroughly enjoy and treasure.
Since we know each other so well, we always play to each other’s strengths, whether that’s designing fabrics, making beautiful bespoke lampshades, taking photographs, chatting to customers and stockists, or updating the Meg Morton website.
We are going from strength to strength. This year, we have launched two collections of stunning new fabrics and added to our selection of striking wallpapers, as well as increasing our range of homewares and products, such as make-up bags. Our beautiful Brocante Stripe is currently featured in Period Living magazine.
We’re both very excited about the latest addition to our collection - luxury weekend bags, which are exquisitely made and very roomy. They’re ideal for getaways, either in the UK or further afield.
Vicky and I frequently bounce ideas off each other, and are always on hand with advice and an honest opinion.
This shot of us working together at my home was taken for the feature in Dorset Magazine. Behind the scenes, we had such a giggle while posing at the kitchen table, surrounded by rolls of fabric and products. It was definitely one of many fun and memorable Meg Morton moments!
