About Us

We are a family-run, country inspired fabric, wallpaper and homeware brand based in Dorset. Our company is named after Maggie's Mother, Meg Morton, an inspirational homemaker and teacher whose family were Scottish fabric designers, innovators and manufacturers dating back to Alexander and Robert Morton during the 'Arts & Crafts Movement'.

We constantly strive to explore and follow in our ancestors footsteps to create timeless designs that fit easily with traditional and contemporary decor.

All of our fabrics, wallpapers and luxury homewares are proudly printed and made in the UK.

Bespoke Lampshades

Our bespoke lampshades are handmade in our Dorset studio. We offer drum, French drum and empire lampshades, for both ceiling and table lamps, in a variety of sizes and fabrics.

The mood board arrived quickly and it was beautifully wrapped and presented. The fabric choices were lovely together and I will certainly be choosing two of them to use as a blind and headboard in the main bedroom of my new home. I think they are very reasonably priced too.

I really like the fabric samples I t received.
I would love to have some curtains in either of them. I’m trying to freshen up a room which has a cranberry coloured sofa; I think shades of pink would help.

Beautiful Lamp Shade

I am delighted with this lamp which I ordered in a post-Christmas desire to style my sitting room. I was inspired by the photo on the Meg Morton Instagram page & realised the red, blue & white colour scheme was the same as mine. The lamp shade arrived quickly bearing in mind it was made to order between Christmas & New Year when no-one much is working. It looks great with a Pooky lamp base. Being lined it does not diffuse the light but channels it up & down which is perfect.
