We have all so enjoyed watching the birds, dragonflies, pretty Dorset Blue butterflies and even otters on our walks during lockdown. During some family research Vicky and I were so thrilled to also find a quote from 1911 by one of our ancestors, Alexander Morton who was a textile designer and manufacturer, about his appreciation of our beautiful countryside and his own river walks!
